Hiya!
My name is Megan Cork, an animator and illustrator from the UK.
My most recent project was my animated film, Are You Home?, Completed as part of my third year of the BA (Honors) Animation and Illustration course at the Cambridge School of Art. I'm very excited to say it will be featured in film festivals in 2024 such as Bite Night Presents..., First-Time Filmmaker Sessions (hosted by Lift-Off Global Network), and Chaniartoon 2024 - International Comic & Animation Festival!
I love making 2D animation- especially based in horror, fantasy and sci-fi!
Some big inspirations include T. Kingfisher (author of The Twisted Ones), the Magnus Archives podcast, games such as The Last of Us 2 or Little Nightmares, and animations such as Scissor Seven, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Across the Spider-verse.
